Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Our life-saving research is focused on finding causes, improving diagnosis and treatments, and running groundbreaking clinical trials for all blood cancer patients.
The role
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help marshal the Robin Hood Marathon Course in Nottingham on 12 September. Main duties will include directing, cheering and encouraging the runners. This will also include cheering on the celebrities from the TV Times Celebrity Team running for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research as they pass your point!
You don’t need to have had any previous experience and a full briefing will be given. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, is a fantastic addition to your CV and it promises to be a really rewarding day.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided and we are looking for anyone aged 14 and above. Under 14’s are more than welcome to help but will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
If you would like to offer your time and take advantage of this opportunity, please do contact Sarah Osborne on 020 7269 9096 or by email at sosborne@beatbloodcancers.org
